What you'll do

The position will involve the following areas of responsibility:

  • Licence applications:
    • Assists various compliance teams with legal aspects of licence applications and renewals.
  • Group license tables
    • Centrally stores and updates all information relating to regulatory licenses applied for and held across the group.
    • This includes, but is not limited, creating and keeping current tables that are to be sent to regulators and third parties on a regular basis.
  • Due Diligence:
    • Complying with due diligence requests received from 3rd party providers, banks etc.
    • Project manages the collation of due diligence to meet third party requirements.
    • Where not project managing, assisting various teams across the group in any legal aspects of due diligence they require.
    • Giving a final review of due diligence collated by teams within the group before it being delivered to third parties.
    • Ensuring adequate confidentiality agreements / clauses in place, prior to due diligence being released.
    • Fielding queries and additional requests from third parties, in response to due diligence received.
  • Shareholding and UBO related information:
    • Central point of contact across the group for all shareholding and UBO related requests, where information is requested by external parties.
  • Addressing ad hoc legal queries across the group, relating to general legal matters.
  • Administrative duties:
    • Filing legal and regulatory documents in central filing system (imanage).
    • Pulling legal documents from system, when requires.
    • Preparing legal letters when required.
    • Proof reading and formatting documents, to produce final copies.
    • Arranging signature of legal letters and power of attorneys.
