    We’re looking for an outstanding intern to join our dedicated Legal Team here at BGL Insurance this summer (July or August) for a 4 week paid internship. We want you to support our lawyers in providing legal assistance to all areas of BGL Insurance.

    Each day, you’ll encounter and work with leading legal professionals who will give you the benefit of their experience first-hand.

    Joining forces with colleagues across the business, you’ll become part of an inclusive and collaborative team, who will support your journey with us from from day one.

    What will you be doing?

    • Work shadowing members of the Legal Team
    • Conducting legal research
    • Assisting with completion of documents (including reports or PowerPoint slides) for other members of the Legal Team
    • Presenting to the Legal Team on relevant recent Legal topics
    • Opportunities to discuss legal careers and be mentored by members of the Legal Team
    • Supporting the Legal Team with administrative tasks
    • Helping creating guidance notes and process documents for the Legal Team
    • Opportunities to engage with other teams across BGL Insurance.

    Are you eligible to apply?

    • You must be studying Law part time or full time at college or university or through the Institute of Legal Executives.
    • No previous legal work experience required, this position is for candidates looking for their first experience of legal work.
    • Can you demonstrate a passion for the law and be dedicated to pursuing a legal career?
