    A quick look at the role

    The Data Analyst is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of HR data, undertaking routine and ad hoc data audits and working with colleagues across the business to drive up the quality of HR data. You will also support data transformation and data migration activities to ensure the successful load of data into the new HR system (Ceridian Dayforce) and the ongoing maintenance of quality data.

    Your core responsibilities

    • Conduct data analysis to identify issues with data and to prioritise areas for data cleanse.
    • Investigate data integrity issues and work with appropriate stakeholders to resolve issues and prevent ongoing problems.
    • Conduct data reconciliation across multiple systems and manual data sources, putting in place regimes to ensure reconciled data is maintained going forward.
    • Support preparation of data for loading into the new HR system (Ceridian Dayforce) and post data load reconciliation.
    • Support the mass upload of data into existing systems where desirable and ensure data is subsequently maintained.
    • Partner with colleagues in Employee Services to identify process improvements which could improve data integrity.
    • Support system testing and other programme activities which require knowledge of HR data.
    • Support the production and development of HR reports and dashboards for internal and external consumption, undertaking analysis of data to provide insights to HR and business customers.
    • Support data privacy compliance, acting as a subject matter expert on data privacy to support colleagues in Employee Services.

    Requirements

    • Good standard of general education, with proven literacy and numeracy.
    • System savvy and competent in data analysis
    • Confident with all Microsoft applications includging advanced Excel and (ideally) Visio
    • Experience of data handling, data analysis and data cleanse
    • Knowledge of data protection laws and regulations
    • Well organised with excellent attention to detail
    • Strong time management with the ability to prioritise effectively
    • Resilient with the ability to work effectively to tight deadlines
    • Flexible team player with a “can do” attitude
