About the role
Are you a student or recent graduate with a passion for data analysis and a knack for problem-solving? If so, BigHand invites you to join our dynamic team as a Data Intern for a 12-week immersive experience within our Revenue Operations team. This internship is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience and make a real impact while working alongside industry experts.
What you’ll do
As a Data Analyst Intern, you'll be an integral part of our Revenue Operations team, playing a key role in the data analysis process. Your responsibilities will include:
- Gathering and collecting data from various sources within the department.
- Understanding the data ecosystem within the Revenue Operations team, and identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Using Microsoft Excel as a key tool for data modelling.
- Collaborating with team members to analyze data sets, extract meaningful insights, and present findings in a clear and actionable manner.
- Assisting in the development and implementation of data-driven strategies to optimize operational processes and drive efficiency.
- Contributing a fresh perspective and innovative ideas to enhance the team's data analysis practices.
What we’re looking for
- A degree in mathematics, statistics, or a related field, showcasing your strong analytical and quantitative skills.
- An inherent curiosity and passion for working with data, with a drive to uncover insights that lead to tangible business improvements.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel) to manipulate, analyze, and visualize data effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work meticulously with data to ensure accuracy and validity.
- Excellent communication skills, enabling you to present complex findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- A proactive and collaborative approach, ready to engage with team members and contribute your unique insights to the organization.
