    What to expect from your summer internship 

    • Gain hands-on experience in understanding and developing an engineering maintenance plan for an identified equipment asset
    • Learn to comprehend the rationale behind maintenance plans, whether they are time-based, or hours-run based
    • Understand the reasoning for spare parts inventory, considering factors like availability, cost, and warehouse space
    • Review the original equipment manufacturer's suggested maintenance plan
    • Recognise the constraints that production plans impose on implementing a maintenance plan
    • Study existing maintenance plans to understand how they are scheduled, completed, and signed off
    • Design and present a maintenance plan for a specific engineering asset

    In addition to the specific responsibilities outlined, interns can expect to develop a range of valuable skills during their summer internship. These include:

    • Hands-on experience in understanding and developing engineering maintenance plans

    About you

    To be eligible for our summer internship, candidates must:

    • be currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program within an engineering discipline. This includes, but is not limited to, fields such as mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, chemical engineering, biomedical engineering, and industrial engineering.
    • be available for the entire 8-week internship, which starts on Monday, July 7th 2025.
    • have the legal right to work in the UK at the time of application
