About the role
The primary purpose of the Payroll and HR Coordinator is to manage and oversee the payroll process, in various countries, ensuring that the employees are paid accurately and on time, in accordance with applicable local law. In additional they will be responsible for other payroll related activities such as correspondence in relation to pay reviews and other duties as listed below. This role includes supporting the HR team and Internal Services in delivering a professional and responsive HR service to all employees, line managers and the Executive Leadership Team.
What will your job look like
- Be the first point of contact for employees on any payroll-related queries
- Responsible for managing the monthly payroll administration for our payroll providers to ensure the company payroll is processed accurately and within the required time frame
- Assisting with monthly pension administration (UK and EU)
- Assist with payroll audit reporting, HR information system, and updating employees records as needed
- Maintain and update employee payroll records, including new hires, terminations and changes in status
- Responsibility for responding to reference requests and tracking these
- Ensure legal compliance and strict confidentiality is upheld
- Carry out administration tasks in relation to employee life cycle events
- Managing the HR mailbox, including triaging enquiries and responding to general queries
- HR admin and ad hoc HR projects as/when required
- Administration of employee benefits (UK and EU)
- Any other duties as reasonably requested by the Senior HR Manager
What will you need to succeed
- Experience of working in a Payroll/HR setting would be desirable but not essential
- Experience in HR Administration is desirable
- Working knowledge of the payroll and taxation
- Confident IT user experienced using MS Office 365
- Outstanding communication (written and verbal)
- Attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and prioritise work in a busy environment
- Discretion and ability to handle confidential information
