    About the role

    We are looking for a Supply Chain & Logistics Assistant to assist the Senior Supply Chain and Logistics Manager in maintaining effective, compliant operation of specialist MHRA-licensed facility, and associated international shipping/logistics, in relation to high-value pharmaceutical and healthcare products.

    What will your job look like?

    • Prepares products for dispatch, including picking, packing (temperature-controlled where applicable), and checking documentation such as delivery notes. Verifies incoming stock and reports any errors or damages promptly
    • Ensures safe and compliant storage of all products using appropriate equipment, maintaining accurate stock rotation, levels, and records to support availability and dispatch
    • Follows all relevant systems and procedures to maintain quality standards, regulatory compliance (GDP, licensing), and product integrity, particularly for ambient and chilled goods
    • Communicates effectively with customers, suppliers, and logistics partners to ensure timely, compliant, and cost-efficient delivery and shipping
    • Identifies and resolves logistical or service-related problems efficiently, maintaining a strong focus on delivering compliant and effective customer solutions
    • Supports audits and quality processes in collaboration with the Quality Manager, ensuring adherence to HPRA and other regulatory requirements
    • Manages logistics and transport planning, including customs and documentation, analysing supply chain routes and third-party provider capabilities
    • Applies health and safety regulations and security protocols consistently across all facility activities
    • Completes necessary administrative duties and record-keeping, while using relevant IT systems such as Microsoft Dynamics (NAV), FMD Software, and Hanwell environmental monitoring
    • Works collaboratively with all departments, attends required training, and contributes to continuous improvement across processes and operations

    What will you need to succeed

    • Previous experience desirable within a logistics setting
    • Experience of working to stringent quality standards, and keeping records demonstrating compliance is essential
    • Good level of literacy and numeracy, with good communication skills
    • Commercial awareness
    • Good planning, organisational, administrative and record-keeping skills
    • Competency in using common Microsoft IT platforms/systems, including Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft Dynamics (NAV) would be advantageous
    • Resilient, with ability to work effectively under pressure and within time constraints
