Are you a 2022 BCU Graduate with a passion for providing an outstanding service to a wide range of stakeholders? We are looking for an Administrative Assistant to provide high quality, efficient and effective administrative support to our staff and students.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Effectively manage queries from start to finish, this includes working on BLSS reception desk (Staff/Student facing) and also online queries or via email
- Plan and book travel (international and UK based)
- Support with Faculty administrative tasks
- Clerk meetings
- Support activities across student lifecycle
- Order supplies for offices and also logging specific requests such as maintenance work
The Administrative Assistant plays a lead role in ensuring our staff and students receive exceptional customer service.
The Post Holder
- Good level of literacy and numeracy
- Demonstrates a can do attitude demonstrating accountability and responsibility for own tasks
- Sound knowledge of clerical duties including taking minutes, dealing with written queries and responses, arranging meetings
- Experience of working in a highly customer focused role
- Strong communication skills with the ability to solve problems and work on own initiative
- Strong IT skills including Microsoft Office is essential and knowledge of SITS is desirable
