We have an exciting opportunity for a Junior Website Content Editor to join our Digital team.
This is a full time, permanent role based at the Support Centre in Speke, Liverpool.
Reporting to the Senior Content Editor, you will be responsible for creating new product listings, and updating and maintaining product content. This role is ideal for anyone looking to take their first steps into online content writing within the retail sector.
What you'll do
The key accountabilities in the role are:
- Working with the Senior Content Editor and content team to support creating new product listings across various product categories
- Assist in updating & maintaining website content including editing, proof reading and writing creative SEO friendly product descriptions and uploading relevant product information and images
- Communicate with the internal teams including Buying for product knowledge and the in-house photography team to ensure image requests for the website are fulfilled
- Create news style content for new store openings
- Be involved in the creation and uploading of blog content – ideas, writing and sourcing content
What you'll need
The skills/experience required are:
- Experience using CMS (content management systems) is desirable but not essential
- Ability to use Microsoft office software especially Excel to a competent standard
- Strong writing skills
- Creative, and passionate about the Retail Industry
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Creativity and a broad range of ideas for new and interesting content
- Strong proof-reading and editing skills
