    Due to the current and future workload requirements within BMT, we are looking for Graduates to join our specialists within our Asset Performance Services Team. The Asset Performance Services Team provides a wide range of services across a variety of capability areas, including:

    • Supportability;
    • Reliability and Maintainability Engineering;
    • Safety Engineering;
    • Environmental Protection and Sustainability;
    • Obsolescence Management;
    • Simulation and Modelling;
    • Data Analysis.

    As a Graduate within Asset Performance Services you will be involved with a wide variety of projects across a range of market areas. We are looking for enthusiastic candidates with an interest in developing their skills in one or more of our capability areas. You can expect to receive training and guidance from our experienced employees, and we will support you to start the journey to achieve Chartered status within your technical profession.

    What is the Graduate Programme?

    • As a BMT graduate, you will be part of an exciting 2-year development programme that will equip you with the knowledge, skills and experience that you will need to propel your career to the next level. You will be paired with a mentor who will support your development within BMT and you will receive a tailored training programme.
    • BMT partner, and have close relationships with, many of the professional institutions so if Chartership is a route that you are interested in, we will support you by paying the membership fees for your chosen institution and you will receive a chartership mentor who will help support you with your application.

    About you

    Do you have the following?

    • A desire to make a difference in your chosen field.
    • A relevant degree such as mechanical/ aeronautical/ systems/ electronic engineering, applied Science/ mathematics/ environmental management or another relevant degree.
    • An interest to develop your skills to align with our services and a desire to deliver within our various markets.
    • Dedication to providing first-class service to our clients and the determination to further their career and gain Chartered status.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Excellent team building skills.
    • Although not essential, some experience of numerical/statistical analysis and tools (e.g. MS Excel and Access) would be beneficial.
    • Flexibility and mobility to be able to work across BMT offices and customer sites throughout the UK.
