    The BMT Management Consultancy Service provides a wide range of capabilities across a variety of disciplines, including:

    • Capability Building Business Analysis & Design

    The Consultancy and Advisory Services team thrives on tackling the most complex business transformation and change management challenges within the Justice & Security and Defence industries and are adept at blending capabilities from the entire spectrum of associated professional disciplines to deliver enduring and value-added solutions.

    What is the Graduate Programme?

    BMT are passionate about developing our Graduates into Industry leading consultants, giving them the autonomy to carve their own career pathways in support of what excites them most. We are looking for Graduate Consultants to join our growing Consultancy and Advisory Services. The 18-month Graduate Programme will offer:

    • Professional and peer-to-peer development and training, covering both technical and soft skillsets
    • Coaching and mentoring from our outstanding team of consultants
    • Various internal workplace rotations within different functions of BMT
    • Client facing work within the Defence and Justice & Security industries
    • Networking opportunities within BMT and our partnered industry bodies
    • Support in continuous professional development, by providing a pathway to career progression, with an opportunity to become a Consultant at the 18- month mark

    About you

    • A solid academic background including a good degree (we will consider applicants from any degree discipline)
    • Previous work experience or extra-curricular activities which demonstrate relevant transferable skills, such as the ability to work with others, the ability to meet deadlines and see work through to completion, leadership and initiative, pragmatism, problem solving and management skills
    • A confident individual who can perform when working as part of a team or when acting independently, with support from colleagues
    • Good attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and the ability to work and adapt in fast-paced working environments
    • Solid IT skills, familiar using MS word, excel, power point, outlook
    • Articulate with good presentation and written communication skills
    • A willingness to work flexibly and prioritise client needs
    • The ability to operate effectively in a client’s team, to influence decision makers and work collaboratively with stakeholders
    • A genuine enthusiasm to contribute to the growth of a successful business
    • Willingness to become a member of an appropriate professional body, and a desire for further professional development
    • Some prior Business/ Project/ Management Consultancy experience is preferable but not essential
    • A willingness to travel is preferable but not essential
