BMT is an independent design and consulting engineering company with a significant presence in defence and security sectors both in the UK and worldwide. Our services are employed by government and private sector clients to tackle the most intricate design, system and enterprise level challenges in cyber security, intelligent systems, naval design, technical authoring and asset management, including the development of standards, policy and regulation as well as decision support for programme, project and digital transformation programmes.
What is the role?
Due to the current and future workload requirements within BMT, we are looking for Graduates to join our Naval Architecture team. As a graduate, you can expect to receive training from our experienced employees, and we will support you to start the journey to achieve Chartered status.
We are looking for graduates who have the following.
- A relevant degree such as Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
- An interest to work within this specialist domain
- Dedication to providing first-class service to our clients and the determination to further their career and gain Chartered engineer status
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent communication and team building skills
