    Electrical Engineering 

    We are looking for

    • Driven intern to join our Bespoke Electrical Engineering Team
    • High level of enthusiasm, creativity and Innovation
    • Hobbyist, ideally developing home projects with Electronics and software (Arduino/Pi)
    • Software skills in Python/C/HTML
    • Self-driven, willing to learn

    What will you be doing?

    • Prototyping of electronic features
      • Hardware – harness building, soldering, adding interface PCBs as necessary
      • Software – Using Arduino/Raspberry Pi or Car PC to control new digital features
    • Ideally have some software knowledge in Python/C/HTML
    • Build upon the software used to control our prototype Innovations vehicles
    • PCB design using Proteus
    • PCB board development using our inhouse tools
    • Opportunity for CAD use developing enclosures for PCBs
    • Freedom to create experimental electronics with other Engineers, (Blue-sky thinking)
    • Learn about CAN and LINbus for Automotive
    • Use Automotive tools such as Vector, Picoscope and EMC test equipment
    • Supporting the Innovations Lead Engineer, but given autonomy and freedom to investigate new technologies that could be applicable to the Bespoke Department
    • Gaining invaluable experience within a unique luxury automotive sector.
    • Working on future innovative product development within a small expert group.

    Qualification

    • Studying towards a Bachelors or Masters Degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics, Electronic/Computing or relevant field.
    • Having software skills would be advantageous, but not essential
    • Experience in New Product Development environment would be advantageous but not essential
