    The purpose of our Production Specialist Graduate will be to support the production disciplines by continuously ensuring the optimisation of processes and technologies in the existing production systems, organisation and management of production driven improvements.

    Key accountabilities

    • Support enhancements to productivity and continuous improvement through the introduction of robust and streamlining measures.
    • Introduce new technologies into the business, whilst developing all existing technologies.
    • Ensure the structured management of all VPS (production system) activities.
    • Provide process improvements and ensure operational requirements of the allocated product or process discipline are
    • met.
    • Provide lessons learnt from series production into new project developments.
    • Ensure the consistency of quality in the throughput time and delivery conditions of all production materials.
    • Process documentation and ensure the accuracy of data maintained in the DMS system.
    • In support of Process control / audit maintain and update as required “control plans, live FMEA,s and validation
    • processes

    What is expected

    • Lead and help provide solutions for tasks and problems identified by the production teams through their critical KPI’s
    • Develop investment plans to support process and productivity improvements.
    • Provide training when delivering new facilities. Source training to support production needs.
    • Conduct capability reviews to identify optimisation improvements of machines and processes.

    Qualification

    • Experience in high volume manufacturing processes preferably within the automotive industry.
    • Knowledge of process control techniques and gauging methods.
    • Beneficial: Experience in project leadership role
    • Good understanding of Lean Manufacturing priciples
    • Familiarity with machinery, technical equipment and engine assembly tooling
    • Familiar with MS Office
    • Beneficial: Experience in using BMW IT systems (SAP, DMS, IPM, IPST etc…)
