    Pet ownership has peaked in recent years and as one of the UK’s Top 5 pet insurers, Pinnacle are busier than ever! We also have big ambitions for continued growth and innovation and are looking for a self starter who is able to translate information into projects and help us with a critical analysis for business improvement.

    We are looking for candidates with expertise in both information technology and business administration for the role of IT Business Analyst. IT business analysts are responsible for enhancing the quality of IT products and services, analysing data to inform business decisions, and finding technological solutions to business needs, among other duties.

    Key responsibilities

    • Liaising between the IT department and the executive branch.
    • Acting as an information source and communicator between business branches ensuring stakeholder agreements are in place.
    • Understanding strategic business needs and plans for growth.
    • Enhancing the quality of IT products and services.
    • Analysing the design of technical systems and business models.
    • Utilizing IT data for business insights.
    • Managing requests for change to requirements.
    • Analysing business needs.
    • Sourcing and implementing new business technology.
    • Finding technological solutions to business requirements.
    • Producing reports on application development and implementation.
    • Running A/B tests and analysing data.
    • Analysing data to inform business decisions.

    Essential

    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Strong Business analyst experience
    • Engaging with stakeholders at all levels
    • Workshop facilitation and documentation
    • Experience in initiation and completion of project lifecycles
    • Attention to detail.

    Desirable

    • Degree in computer engineering, business administration, or related field.
    • Exposure within the Insurance industry
    • Proactive / self starter
    • Solid experience in an IT management position.
    • Solid experience in a technology-driven role.
