Within Global Markets, Markets 360 is the client-facing research division consisting of economists and strategists providing analysis and views on markets across economies, Central Bank policies and asset classes.
Purpose & scope of role
- Seeking a highly motivated and technically skilled individual to join our team as a Markets 360 AI Research Intern.
- The successful candidate will support by working on cutting-edge AI technologies, including large language models (LLMs), to drive innovation in our investment research initiatives.
Key responsibilities of role
- Collaborate with our research and development teams to design, implement, and optimize AI solutions for various projects.
- Conduct independent research to identify opportunities for leveraging AI technology within our investment research domain.
- Contribute to the development of systematic and industrialized AI solutions to enhance our investment strategies.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of AI technologies into our existing infrastructure.
- Stay updated on the latest AI advancements and industry trends to continuously improve our research efforts.
Experience, qualifications & competencies
- Strong background in a quantitative field, such as computer science, mathematics, engineering, or finance – a minimum of Undergraduate level required.
- Proficiency in programming languages commonly used for AI development, such as Python.
- Passion for AI technology and a proven track record of personal research in the field.
- Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing AI solutions, with a focus on large language models and natural language processing.
- Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Ability to managing projects efficiently, including planning, execution, and monitoring.
- Awareness of ethical considerations and implications of AI technologies, and a commitment to responsible AI development.
- Strong understanding of the financial industry and investment research, including relevant regulations and compliance requirements.
- Commitment to continuous learning and staying updated with the latest AI advancements and industry trends.
