From the outset, you will be contributing to the output of your team, taking responsibility and working with leading professionals.
The Role
The PMO team operate processes that provide broad exposure to the change activities of the bank, without requiring deep subject matter expertise. It therefore offers a good entry level opportunity where there are plenty of chances to learn but also the ability to contribute and be productive quite quickly.
You will bring a fresh pair of eyes and new ideas in terms of how and why we arrange and perform tasks the way that we do, and potentially they will also be able to bring new ideas of how to work, and tools and technologies learned whilst completing their studies.
Main duties will include
- Provide meeting support including client and/or internal meetings; this could include set up of meetings, collation of agendas and slide packs, taking minutes, following up on actions etc
- Support the reporting of time spent by change teams on projects and other change and support activity - for project budget tracking and billing
- Contribute to reporting across the project portfolio that is prepared for various management forums, for example to support decisions around project priorities
- Support the logging, approval and tracking of invoices for payment
- Update and maintain the PMO Sharepoint site
- Opportunities here to contribute to enhancing the look and feel of the site
- Support processes required in PMO systems when new staff join or staff leave the organization
- General administration assistance
- Proactive involvement in wider PMO initiatives as and when required eg. implementation of tools to improve or support project reporting, time tracking, project planning or execution etc
Responsibility for these tasks would evolve – initially perhaps being responsible for part of the task, under supervision, eventually owning the task, and potentially improving the process.
Candidate Profile
- Confident in Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook
- Training would be provided for other tools used (e.g. JIRA, Clarity, Sharepoint, OneNote, Visio, PowerBI)
- Well organised
- Very good attention to detail
- Strong numeracy skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills

Recruitment Process
