    We are looking for an Intern to start in July 2023 within the Project Management core function to support with planning, administration, monitoring and reporting activities.

    Position Responsibilities

    • Co-ordinate the Programme and Project performance reporting dates and materials to meet the reporting timelines/operating rhythm ensuring inputs align to the quality standards and best practices set
    • Co-ordinate the monthly submission of Performance metrics for all BDUK Programmes ensuring performance is based on robust data and variance analysis reported sufficiently
    • Maintain a centralised set of Programme and Project Management Policies, Processes, Processes and templates, identifying and communicating Best Practice examples to the PM community
    • Support the Programme and Project Management training opportunities offered by the Programme Management function and wider Boeing enterprise
    • Maintain the BDUK Key milestones report ensuring status and details are accurate and timely
    • Administer the Programme Risk, Issue and Opportunity System
    • Project Manage improvement initiatives led by the Programme Management Function, engaging with the Boeing Enterprise to leverage opportunities as required
    • Maintain a centralised Programme lessons learned repository
    • Support the planning and tracking of Programme Management Best Practices Audits, Gate Reviews, Execution Performance Assessment, Executability Risk Assessments, Independent review and Start Up assist activities, as required
    • Identify and implement process, quality and productivity improvements across the PM Function

    Essential Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)

    • Right to work in UK - We do not sponsor applicants for employment visa status.
    • Studying a degree course or have graduated a degree course within last 2 years

    Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)

    • Studying degree level in business studies, project management, finance or similar
    • Confidence or willingness to present and host meetings
    • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to discuss ideas and concepts with stakeholders of all levels.
    • To have forward thinking mind-set and self-motivated
    • Effective communication skills
