    Our placements are a 12-month fixed term contract from August 2023 until August 2024. This role will be based at our Manchester Head Office. Please note these roles are only open to students who are currently in 2nd year and are available to do a placement year in 2023.

    Purpose

    The technology team at the boohoo group is growing rapidly, many new technologies, systems, processes are continually introduced, and we are always evolving! Are you interested in joining one of the fastest growing companies in the UK? As our technology intern, you will be responsible for assisting in developing the back-end applications and processes.     Responsibilities

    • Assist in developing and maintaining Group systems and applications
    • Work as part of developer team
    • Work with your tech team colleagues to provide formal route to live sign off
    • Respond to flexible demands of working environment
    • Support the tech team in maintaining hardware, software, and other systems
    • Assist with troubleshooting issues and provide technical support if required
    • Lend IT support in areas such as cybersecurity, programming, Java Dev,
    • Maintain all IT systems to a high standard to ensure operational availability
    • To act as an ambassador for the IT Department
