We are looking to recruit a graduate trainee on a 2-year placement. This scheme will include an external training course which you will study alongside the role. Candidates must meet all other eligibility criteria at the time the programme is due to start.
The start date for this role is September 2024.
Job description
- To develop your business and commercial skills with focus to take overall commercial responsibility for some of our current and/or new customer accounts when ready
- To increase revenue for Bosch Engineering GmbH in the UK through new sales acquisition
- To develop and agree a business development strategy with Bosch Engineering GmbH senior management
- To develop and maintain customer contacts
- Explore new business fields and applications for Bosch Engineering GmbH services
- To develop and maintain a thorough understanding of the Bosch Engineering GmbH engineering services portfolio
- Promote Bosch Engineering in the UK. Support marketing and customer events. Attend conferences and trade shows
- Liaise with Bosch customer and engineering teams in the UK and Germany/abroad
- Support quote preparation and responses to Request for Quotation. Be the customer contact for project related commercial questions
Qualifications
- Commercially astute with the ability to negotiate contracts
- Technically aware with good understanding of the latest trends in automotive technology
- Energetic, creative and proactive
- Batchelor Degree qualified in a relevant subject
- Possess a valid UK driving licence and permanent working permit valid for the UK and EU
- Readiness to travel within the UK and to Germany/abroad
- Must be fluent in English, additional languages would be beneficial
- You will be a clear and reliable communicator with proficient MS Office skills and excellent problem solving skills
- Negotiation Skills and ability to influence both customer and Bosch organisations
- Work well with and fully support other team members
- Ability to manage own time and work independently when required
- Highly organised and act as Bosch ambassador with excellent inter-personal ability
