Job description

As a Bosch intern you will benefit from on the job training in a supportive working environment where you can develop your personal and professional skills. We offer a range of commercial placements and you will have the opportunity to express your preference on the application form.

You will support sales teams by interacting with customers, receiving and processing quotes, PO and invoices, tracking sales targets and managing sales pipelines. You may also be asked to get more involved in preparing data or presentations, or work with colleagues or customers overseas. In addition, there may be opportunities for you to represent Bosch at Trade Shows or customer-sponsored events.

You will need to be highly organised and able to juggle multiple tasks and demands by anticipating the needs of others and looking for proactive solutions, so you will have the following attributes:

Qualifications

Essential qualifications/skills

  • Studying for an undergraduate or Masters degree and required to take a placement as part of your course.
  • Ability to organise own work and work autonomously.
  • Good analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Good interpersonal, communication and collaboration skills.
  • Good written and spoken English.
  • Proficient in MS office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Able to use an integrated system such as SAP, social media, databases or other tools provided by the company to do your role.

Additional information

This is a 12 or 13 month internship beginning in June, July or August 2024. This position is open to undergraduates or Masters students who are required to partake in a work placement as part of their course.

You must have the right to live and work in the UK when you start your placement and for the full duration of your placement. Please note your placement must be directly relevant to your course to comply with visa requirements.
