    Job Description

    Analog/Mixed Signal Design Internship:

    • Topology evaluation/development of Bosch's RADAR integrated circuit
    • Component, circuit and system modelling using Matlab, Verilog-A/AMS or other tools
    • Analog/mixed-signal circuit design and simulation in Cadence mixed-signal design environment, achieving leading function and performance targets, such as bandwidth, accuracy, power and die area.
    • IC physical design and verification in Virtuoso environment
    • Silicon characterization and debugging using laboratory instruments

    Embedded Software/Firmware Internship:

    • Digital design
    • Design, develop implement and test C embedded software for our advanced radar system
    • Low level, 'Bare Metal' and device control application development & debugging.
    • Work with embedded 'staples' such as GPIO's, Timers, PWM, ADC's, DAC's.
    • Develop code to precise timing and functional performance requirements.
    • Contribute to automated testing / continuous integration / verification.
    • Using tools associated with Iterative development lifecycles (Jira / Jama.)
    • Design, document, review and maintain the software design
    • Develop and maintain knowledge of best practice development processes, language standards and tools

    Qualifications

    Essential skills:

    Working towards a Bachelor degree of electrical engineering, electronics technology, electrical engineering technology, electrical and computer engineering or related field

    • Completed coursework in Analog and Mixed Signal IC design, solid understanding of semiconductor technologies
    • Completed coursework in C/C++, Python and Matlab.
    • Strong communication and solid team work skills needed for effective collaboration
    • Proven record of time management and independent project completion
    • Very good written and oral communications skills in English
    • Languages: good spoken and written English skills
    • Personality: team-oriented, customer-oriented, quality-conscious
