    Job Description

    Our trainee programmes are specifically designed to give you all the tools and training you should need to progress further in your career. Your role is important to the overall purpose of the business, this 2 year Advanced Apprenticeship supports the Insights and Analytics team within the Marketing department.

    In this role, your primary purpose is to support the improvement of our customer experience, by obtaining and analysing data to provide insight for key stakeholders such as the Customer Experience team, Digital team and the Customer Loyalty team. You will also be a key supporter for wider projects by conducting research/feedback studies, insight identification, measurement and identification of Marketing KPIs and supporting with external requests from wider customer facing business areas.

    On a day to day basis your key deliverables will be:

    • Creating and managing marketing data storage and workflows to provide insight and analytics to the business
    • Supporting the reporting and optimisation of the Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI)
    • Net Promoter Score (NPS) and customer success reporting
    • Supporting the gathering of primary and secondary research relating to User Experience (UX)
    • Documenting and monitoring data quality and RFMI (Recency, Frequency, Monetary Value and Insight) reporting for managed data sources.

    There will also be opportunities available to get involved in wider topics outside of your job role through cross-functional working groups within the business.

    • Analytical skills – the ability to analyse and interpret complex data and insight and draw meaningful conclusions
    • Creative – the ability to look at information from more than one angle and to also look for creative ways to simplify information when reporting back to the business.
    • Problem solving – takes initiative and is proactive in solving problems that may occur
    • Attention to detail – Looks for discrepancies and rectifies.
    • Communication skills – The ability to communicate with stakeholders at all levels of the business and the ability to present summary information in an engaging and universally understood way.
    • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
    • Adaptability and prioritisation of workload to cater for business needs in a fast-paced environment

    Desired but not essential – Experience of Google analytics, Alteryx,Tableau and survey creation tools and techniques
