Job Description
The purpose of the role is to offer a graduate the opportunity to develop their engineering skills within a team of experienced product development specialists.
This 2 year advanced apprenticeship will involve learning to carry out product development tasks such as performance testing, safety confirmations and product improvement work using state-of-the-art test equipment under the guidance of experienced engineers.
Specific task include:
- Support the completion of test work to the project test plan
- Contribute to the creation of test reports, drawing of conclusions and report back findings with recommendations
- Checking technical documentation
- Assist with technical support for production, quality and ratio initiatives
- Ensure test equipment inspected on a regular basis and calibrated in line with agreed schedules
You will also have the opportunity to get involved in other cross-functional working groups across the business alongside your day to day job role.
Qualifications
Our ideal candidate:
- Holds a degree in an engineering discipline (equivalent experience in heating product development will be considered)
- Has an agile and flexible approach to large and difficult tasks
- Can communicate clearly across all levels and hierarchies
- Is a strong team worker
- Has excellent work ethics
- Able to manage her/his time effectively
- Can take decisions within the scope of the role and propose a path for resolution

Expected Start Date: November 2022 (negotiable)

Working Hours: 39 hours a week; Mon – Thurs 08.00 – 17.00 and Fri 08.00 - 16.00 with a 1 hour unpaid lunchbreak.
