Job description
As a graduate trainee you will be working within the BEG UK team to develop and broaden your proficiency and knowledge, you will have an opportunity to develop a wider understanding of Bosch Engineering Group.
You will bring a positive and flexible approach and be expected to integrate and work closely with the UK teams, as well as the central German team, transitioning between the departments when required. The role is a 2 year fixed term role.
- Responsibility for the technical project management for simple powertrain projects (e.g. project preparation and steering, controlling, quality, cost control, timeline, go to series, ...)
- Support the project manager and sales manager for the acquisition of new project with existing customer or for business development on new technologies and new markets
- Coordinating the resources across different engineering departments in U.K. and Germany.
- Ensuring that projects are delivered in a process compliant manner, this also include ensuring high quality (preparation of quality gates, reviews, assessments, lessons learned...)
- Responsibility for the assigned customer(s); working towards a very good collaboration with the customer, understanding their needs and requirements
Qualifications
Essential
- Degree in a relevant engineering subject i.e. Automotive, Mechanical, Electronics
- Entrepreneurial and business development mindset
- Communicative and team player
- Business fluent English both written and spoken
- Right to work in the UK
Desired
- Knowledge and professional experience in the automotive / powertrain domain
- Project Management Certification
