Job Description
Join us for your placement year in summer 2023! Our internships are designed to give you an insight into what it's like to work for a world-renowned brand with a culture of support and community.
Customer Logistics is the area of the business that deals with all aspects of Order Processing from our Merchants, Stockists and other Bosch business areas. We have a passion for providing excellent customer service and care to our customers. We are also committed to ensure that our workplace is supportive of our colleagues and a happy place to work.
Your role as our intern will be to support the customer order process ensuring all orders are accurately processed, answer customer enquires via phone and email, resolving any issues that may arise, maintain daily KPIs and reports and work as team to support your colleagues.
There will also be the opportunity for a few weeks of the placement to support our Contact Centre, answering inbound phone calls. This will allow you to develop and enhance your communication skills for the future, focusing and interacting directly with the Bosch Customer base.
Qualifications
Please note that to be eligible for this role, you must be an undergraduate student seeking a placement year as part of your degree - if you do not meet this criteria please consider applying for other positions. Our ideal candidate should:
- Have a "can do" attitude and positive mindset
- Be receptive to new ideas, approaches and ways of working
- Be able to adjust to changing circumstances and demands
- Have strong customer service focused skills
- Have the ability to communicate well to all business levels
- Be a team player with the ability to work independently
- Be computer literate in Microsoft packages
- Have a great telephone manner
- Have good attention to detail with a right first time approach
Additional Information
- Expected Start Date: 3rd July 2023
- Working Hours: 39 hours a week; Mon – Thurs 08.00 - 17.00 and Fri 08.00 - 16.00 with a 1 hour unpaid lunchbreak
- Location: Worcester Distribution Centre - this role will be office based to support building your network. Hybrid working options are available following completion of training at your manager's discretion.
