    You can make your mark as a Commercial graduate for Boskalis Subsea Services located in Aberdeen. A perfect opportunity if you are eager to learn and want to kick-start your career!

    The role

    This will be a two year graduate programme where you will work as part of the Commercial team responsible for providing contractual and commercial support to ensure that Boskalis Subsea Services Limited is mitigating its contractual and commercial risk at all times and optimising its project delivery.

    As a graduate, you will have placements within all areas of the Commercial function (Tendering, Post Contract Award, Procurement & Business Development) providing support to each team whilst building extensive experience and building up your responsibility. You will also have the opportunity to work in other functions across the business including Project Services, Engineering & Finance in order to further build your knowledge and give you an understanding of the business as a whole.

    Where you will work

    You will be based in our Aberdeen office however trips and/ or placements within Boskalis’s head office in Papendrecht or our Dubai office may be possible during your graduate programme. You will also have the opportunity to visit at least one of our vessels

    The Program

    The graduate programme will commence in September 2023. During each of the work placements there is a lot of room to work on your personal development. Objectives will be set for each placement throughout the programme and you will also have the opportunity to set personal development goals and work on them with support from your senior colleagues and line manager.

    Your qualities

    You can make your mark as a Commercial Graduate if you have:

    • A relevant degree, preferably within Law, Business or Quantity Surveying
    • Good communication and organisational skills
    • Good interpersonal, influencing skills and judgmental skills
    • Ability to work using own initiative and to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team
    • Ability to effectively manage own workload, and work given timescales (both internal & external), ensuring company requirements are met
    • Adaptability and problem solving capability
    • Pro-active forward looking approach
    • Commitment to provide Excellent Customer Care

    What you can expect

    • Where you will work: Your location will be our office in Aberdeen and you have the option to work from home 2 days per week. Fixed office days are Tuesday and Thursday, other days being flexible in agreement with your line manager.
    • Fulltime job: The position of Commercial Graduate is full time, 35 hours per week.

At the moment Young Boskalis is mainly active in the Netherlands but Young Boskalis Aberdeen has recently just launched with a calendar of monthly social events varying in the types of activities.
