We have a fantastic opportunity available at Bouygues Energies & Services (BYES) for an Engineering Graduate to join our Hinkley Point C team as an Interface, Configuration and Change Management (ICCM) Graduate. The role would be based from our Bristol office but supporting the Hinkley project.
It’s a very exciting time to be joining Bouygues! We have been delivering a Turn-key EPC contract for the Hinkley Point C new build nuclear power plant Emergency Diesel Generators (EDG).
The successful candidate would have the opportunity to work alongside a group of very dedicated and knowledgeable individuals within our team, and be able to contribute to the work that we are carrying out on this innovative project.
This two-year graduate placement within the technical team includes control of technical change, interfaces and configuration, with the following responsibilities assigned:
Support the ICCM (Interface, Change, Configuration Management) Lead in the administration and oversight of technical change, interface and configuration management. This will necessitate a broad overview of the EDG system design. Oversee and administer the technical change process and liaise with Work Package Leads to ensure timely progress of technical changes.
Graduate programme
You will be enrolled onto our graduate programme which is a two-year structured training scheme. The programme is designed to enhance and develop soft skills and technical capability through a blend of classroom-based learning and on the job training.
What you'll need
A 2:1 (or above) in an Engineering discipline (Mechanical or Electrical preferred). Knowledge of engineering design and quality processes. A genuine desire to work within the nuclear industry.
