    Role purpose

    The Assistant Imagery Producer is responsible for supporting the content production team in the day-to-day delivery of imagery assets. This is a creative role that is responsible for supporting the planning and delivery of photo shoots and assets to a high standard. The Assistant Imagery Producer works closely with the Content Planning Manager to distribute content and assets to channels and the wider business, the day to day running of internal content repositories, and will hold strong relationships with key stakeholders.

    Key accountabilities and responsibilities

    • Upon receipt of content briefs, collaborate closely with the Content Production Manager to develop well-structured and creative responses tailored for channel-specific consideration.
    • Provide support in the creation of detailed production packs, which may include product nominations, prop selections, and set design concepts.
    • Take responsibility for tracking and monitoring project timelines to ensure all aspects of production planning and execution adhere to established schedules.
    • Attend shoots at a range of locations, providing hands-on assistance with art direction, styling, and shoot coordination. Ensure that all shoot requirements — from aesthetic direction to logistical arrangements — are executed to a high standard, and that the creative intent of each project is brought to life accurately.
    • Oversee the full lifecycle of sample and prop management with strong attention to detail:
    • Create and maintain a master sample list to monitor check-ins and check-outs throughout the shoot process, ensuring product details are meticulously logged.
    • Develop sample and prop shopping lists based on approved scamps and shot lists, ensuring accuracy and timely procurement.
    • Coordinate the collection and delivery of samples and props to and from shoot locations, managing the returns process efficiently to avoid loss or damage.
    • Manage the sample budget, including the acquisition of gift cards for purchases and maintaining a comprehensive tracker for receipts and credit notes.
    • Ensure any unwanted or unused items are disposed of responsibly, adhering to WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment) directives or other applicable guidelines.
    • Maintain the internal content repository by ensuring all assets are uploaded, labelled, and organised correctly across both The Source and DAM (Digital Asset Management) systems.
    • Work in close partnership with the Content Planning Manager to ensure that all stakeholders receive final assets in a timely manner. Confirm that deliverables meet the brief specifications and are correctly formatted for intended use.
    • Support the production process of CGI assets by coordinating feedback, organizing references, and facilitating communication between the content and CGI teams to ensure output aligns with creative direction and brand standards.
    • Assist in managing budgets and processing invoices, including maintaining expense trackers, liaising with finance teams, and ensuring that all production-related costs are accurately documented and accounted for.
    • Work with the Content Production Manager to develop and implement a content and style strategy for Pinterest. This includes regular maintenance of the platform, ensuring content is up to date, brand-aligned, and optimized for audience engagement.

    Required skills and experience

    Essential skills

    • An aptitude for delivering visual content.
    • An ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously and prioritise under direction from senior team members.
    • Strong attention to detail to ensure that content is carefully planned
    • An understanding of the requirements of marketing and online channels, social media applications.
    • Takes ownership for work, works efficiently to meet deadlines and uses initiative to solve problems
    • Exceptionally well organised with good prioritisation skills
    • Excellent communication skills and able to handle multiple demands for support
    • Naturally creative with an eye for spotting customer content opportunities
    • An aptitude for responding to briefs.

    Able to travel to various shoot locations: primary studio base (BA2) B&Q head office (SO53).
