About the role
We are seeking to appoint 2 Graduate Trainees in the HR Department here at Bradford Council. Initially the posts will be supporting the Employee Relations and Policy, and the Strategy & Reward teams. There will also be the opportunity to gain wider experience of HR as the posts will be supporting the different teams throughout the duration of the contract.
The role involves working with colleagues across the service to ensure that legislation and policy is understood. Supporting the Employee Relations and Policy Manager to ensure that the Council’s employment related policies and strategic industrial/employee relations framework are kept up to date and compliant with legislation and national and local agreements on collective bargaining, conflict resolution and the management of change. Providing support to the Strategy and Reward Manager in implementing and managing the employee benefits & reward offer, and also looking at the employee market to identify further opportunities to continuously improve our offer, as well as being involved in the job evaluation programme across the Council.
Who you are
You should be graduating in 2024 or be in possession of a first degree.
