    We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Bid Coordinator to support our business opportunity and bidding activities, alongside customer enquiry management. This role is crucial to support the Research and Innovation (R&I) team in securing new business opportunities to support our R&I strategy. Alongside the identification and pursuit of new opportunities, this role will be responsible for coordinating customer enquiries which may include new leads or technical queries for the attention of our technical teams.

    Your role at BRE

    In this role, you will be instrumental in driving business growth within the R&I division by identifying tender/bid opportunities across both private and public sectors, supporting tender/bid responses, and managing customer enquiries.

    Role responsibilities will include

    • Identifying tender opportunities as they are published and liaising with internal stakeholders to support the creation and execution of a bid management plan.
    • Supporting in the management of tender/bid responses, which may be simultaneous at times.
    • Maintaining a response content library to ensure relevant and impactful responses, including the creation and collation of case studies.
    • Coordinating all relevant lead, opportunity, and tender/bid administration within Microsoft Dynamics 365.
    • Managing inbound enquiries (via emails and D365); reviewing and determining suitable next steps for enquiries received and distributing enquiries to the R&I teams.

    Essential

    • Outstanding organisational and multitasking abilities, with the ability to track progress.
    • Exceptional writing skills with the ability to create clear, concise content tailored to different audiences.
    • Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients and teams.
    • Able to work using initiative but also in teams, working under pressure and often to tight deadlines.
    • Self-motivated, with excellent attention to detail.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
    • Confidence in maintaining client relationships and delivering regular updates.

    Desirable

    • Experience in writing and submitting tenders.
    • Working knowledge of using Microsoft Dynamics 365 (specifically Project Operations and Financial & Supply Chain Management programmes).
    • Experience with opportunities and projects in government or public sector.
    • Knowledge of ISO 9001 and other relevant industry standards.
