We are seeking a dynamic and creative Marketing Assistant to join our team and support our social media marketing efforts.
As a Marketing Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting and implementing engaging social media campaigns, driving brand awareness and fostering audience engagement.

Roles and responsibilities
- Assist in developing and executing social media strategies to enhance brand visibility and engage our target audience.
- Create compelling and visually appealing content with a focus on video for social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn and YouTube.
- Monitor and manage social media accounts, responding to comments, messages and inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
- Conduct market research and stay up-to-date with industry trends to identify opportunities for social media growth and innovation.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to coordinate social media campaigns with other marketing activities, ensuring consistent brand messaging and positioning.
- Analyse social media performance using analytics tools to track key metrics, identify trends and provide actionable insights for optimising future campaigns.
- Stay informed about the latest social media platform updates, algorithm changes and best practices and apply this knowledge to improve our social media presence.
- Monitor competitor social media activities and industry benchmarks to identify areas for improvement and stay ahead of market trends.
- Support the development and implementation of social media advertising campaigns, including ad creation, targeting and optimisation.
- Assist in organising and executing social media competitions, giveaways and other promotional activities to drive engagement and expand our online community.
- Organise and implement campaigns, communications and challenges through our Brio app for all members.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including content creators, designers and other members of the digital marketing team, to ensure high-quality and engaging social media content.
Qualifications and skills
- Ideally a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications or a related field or similar qualification.
- Demonstrable experience managing social media platforms and campaigns.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends and best practices.
- Proficient in using social media management tools and analytics platforms.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to create effective video and image content on a mobile device.
- Creative mindset with the ability to generate engaging and visually appealing content.
- Knowledge of basic graphic design principles and experience with graphic design tools is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to analyse data, draw insights and make data-driven decisions.
- Positive attitude, team player and willingness to learn and adapt.
