    The Digital Marketing Assistant Intern role is a hybrid role, where you will work from the London office for two days per week, each week with the option to work the three remaining days of the week, each week from home. There may also on occasion be the opportunity to join us in our Sheffield office for our DDM Team Forum.

    What you will do

    Based in the London office, you will be collaborating with our Customer Marketing experts, from the Customer Marketing Pillar of the Digital and Direct Marketing Team. Your Line Manager will be Marketing & Optimisation Manager. You will collaborate closely with colleagues in our team of 12 people, who are based in London and Sheffield offices.

    The primary purpose of the Digital Marketing Assistant role is to support direct to customer marketing activities and to assist on designated day to day workstreams and projects on national, regional, and targeted level. As part of a team which is led by the Senior Customer Marketing Manager, you will have the opportunity to work throughout the customer journey.

    Within this role you will assist across online and offline channels, whilst also having ownership of some reporting and data analysis as well as an opportunity to get involved with insights and recommendations.

    You will support on designated marketing activities across our digital shop front. This will include working in our content management system on content updates across websites and SEO updates using Brightedge. The role also provides marketing support across the team. This will include (but is not limited to) project support, research, landscape analysis and audits.

    During your internship, you will be set specific objectives associated with the team’s direct to customer plans. You will be reporting into a line manager who will be there to help set you up for success with regular review meetings to gauge your performance and how you are doing.

    This is a real opportunity to get a first-hand experience working within the Digital & Direct Marketing Team, within the Market Engagement and Transformation department.
