    About the Role

    During the 3 year programme you will undertake at least 3 different roles or “placements” where you’ll actively take a role in decision making, commercial development, strategy and planning - across such areas as Commercial, Financial Control, Supply Chain, Audit & Risk and FP&A.

    You will be required to learn the key skills required to be successful in a financial career. Starting in Financial Shared Services you will support either our Account Payable or Account Receivable teams to start getting a grounding in finance fundamentals.

    Year 1 will be based in our Solihull offices with then a mix of Solihull and Hemel Henpstead for years 2 & 3.

    We are aiming to run an assesment centre all day interview event the week commencing 20th of February

    Key Responsibilities

    These will be varied depending on the placement that is undertaken but it would generally be expected that:

    • Dealing with internal and external customers competently
    • Reporting, spotting errors and issues early and raising these in the correct channels
    • Presenting to key stakeholders on trends with clear recommendations on next steps
    • Running complex reports
    • Processing date whether that be invoices or inputting data into systems to inform other areas of the financial process
    • This list is not exhaustive but a generalisation on what to expect in the at least the first year of the Graduate Placement.

    You will also need

    • A minimum 2:1 degree and strong academic background – across any discipline, but with clear motives for a career in Finance. You will ideally have 6-12 months' Finance experience gained via a university placement, holiday work or post-graduation employment. You do not have to have had exposure to an FMCG related sector.
    • A strong interest and motivation for a career in Finance
    • MS Office (Word/Excel and PowerPoint)
