    The programme

    At Britvic, our Technical team is responsible on working on NPD launches in collaboration with Brands. We are looking for one undergraduate to join Technical and Programme team and work along experts in the filed of project & programme management as well as packaging development team which runs student placement programme too.

    In your role you will be working in the Liquid Development Team where you’ll be working with other Product Developers throughout the product timeline from lab development through to implementation in the factories. Your work will directly impact future Britvic products and in return you will have the chance to gain experience in FMCG, develop your skills and work in a fast pace environment combined with a strong package and excellent benefits.     The role

    • Hands on liquid development in our lab based in Hemel Hempstead
    • Scale up in our GB factories, testing new products & ingredients
    • Implementing new products in any of our GB sites
    • Project managing from concept through to launch including going to our governance forums to align with key project stake holders
    • Working cross functionally with product insights, analytical, procurement etc.
    • Other activities will include arranging product testing programmes, administration, submitting samples for laboratory analysis, writing up results and reporting back to key members of the project teams.

    Qualifications and requirements

    • A student currently in the second year of university studies, where the course includes the option of completing a sandwich placement during the third year. Following path to a degree level qualification in Food Science or closely related food disciplines / Chemistry / Biology.
    • Interest in product formulation are essential
    • Interest in process scale up from laboratory to factory are essential.
    • Well-developed interpersonal skills. Relationship building, facilitation, written / verbal communication skills are essential
    • Accomplished IT Skills using Microsoft suite of programs (including MS Project).
