Our growing Commercial Property team are looking for a new paralegal to work in our Chesterfield office.
The role will involve working with a variety of clients and assisting the Commercial Property team with casework and administrative tasks. The role is suitable for an existing paralegal or law graduate. Experience in commercial property would also be an advantage but not essential.

Duties to include
- Providing a comprehensive and efficient legal service as a paralegal in Commercial Property
- Managing the files of clients assigned to you, including research, providing advice and drafting documents
- File opening, administration, completing anti-money laundering checks, and file closing, ensuring policies and procedures are followed
- Assisting the fee earners in the team with new client enquiries, taking instructions and administration support
- Managing time and tasks as a paralegal, keeping a proper record of all work done, time recording and training received
- Carrying out monthly billing procedures including generating bills, sending bills to clients and assisting with credit control.
What we're looking for
Candidates should have paralegal experience or be a law graduate. Ideal candidates should be able to demonstrate:
- Prior work experience
- Commercial awareness
- An interest in commercial property law
- A strong academic record
The ideal candidate should also be based in Chesterfield, with the ability to commute to both offices.
