    About the role

    The applicant will be making an active contribution towards the operation of orderly markets, and combating potential market abuse across European equity and derivative markets and will have the chance to develop key skills within the overall market supervision area. The applicant will play a key role with respect to enhancing the onboarding process from a Participant Services perspective, driving efficiency and reliability improvements.

    We are seeking a versatile intern who is intelligent, eager, personable, independent, assertive and able to work in a fast-paced, time sensitive, financial and technological environment.

    The intern will be involved in numerous projects and daily BAU with the Cboe Market Supervision & Participant Services team.

    Requirements

    • Undergraduate or graduate student working towards a degree
    • Ability to work individually as well as part of a team; able to communicate, co-operate, support, take ownership and challenge appropriately
    • Strong analytical skills and ability to think “outside the box”
    • PC literate: MS Office with good knowledge of Excel and able to work in a complex screen-based environment
    • Organised, methodical, flexible and able to follow up findings in an efficient and thorough manner
    • Good record keeping and report writing skills with good attention to detail and accuracy
    • Not afraid to get stuck in tasks you’ve never done
    • Good interpersonal and customer service skills; creates and develops relationships both internally and externally
    • PC literate: MS Office with good knowledge of Excel and able to work in a complex screen-based environment
    • Excellent time management skills and ability to work well under pressure
    • Able to commute to London office location regularly (hybrid work schedule)
