    About the role

    As part of the role, you will work alongside experienced teachers, giving you an opportunity to both learn from others and pass on your knowledge. Our motto ‘learning is a journey not a race’ is very much a focus for our staff and their development, as well as our children.

    We have 3 classes in each year group, therefore each year group team work together on the planning and delivery of the curriculum. We have high quality support staff across the team to support the teachers and to cater for the variety of needs within the class.
    We are a friendly team with supportive Team Leaders and Phase Assistant Headteachers.

    About you

    We are looking for an enthusiastic, highly skilled class teacher who is energetic and creative and who will support our core values.
    You will have QTS – ECTs are welcome to apply; we have a skilled and experienced ECT mentor/leading practitioner whose role is to support and coach ECTs through their two-year induction period.

    We are looking for a teacher who:

    • Is a book lover – who loves to read children stories and immerse their class, in story language
    • Is passionate about teaching
    • Is fantastic with Phonics (or have the drive to be with some coaching and support)
    • Is creative, energetic and take an enthusiastic approach to all aspects of school life
    • Is keen to make learning fun, exciting and hands-on
    • Is confident to work within a team – you must be a team player
    • Genuinely wants to make a real difference to children’s lives
    • Is eager to teach in a supportive and nurturing environment where they are encouraged and supported to blossom further in their teaching role
    • Cares about the ‘whole-child’ and is committed to safeguarding
