About the role
You will be responsible for a Year R or Key Stage 1 class and will be able to fulfil the professional responsibilities of a teacher, as set out in the School Teachers’ Pay and Conditions Document.
You will take responsibility in promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children in our care and be a positive role model in behaviour, work ethic and attitude.
- Providing support outside of the classroom, such as extra-curricular activities and break duties
- Monitoring and tracking student progress
- Building positive relationships with students, teachers, and parents
- Experience working with children or young people
- Strong communication and interpersonal skill
- The ability to build relationships and work collaboratively with others
- A positive and flexible attitude
About you
We are looking for
- QTS status- ECTs will be considered
- Relevant experience of teaching in Early Years/KS1
- Secure knowledge and understanding of the National Curriculum and Assessment
- The ability to motivate and inspire our wonderful to children to have a love of learning
- Excellent teaching and communication with good classroom organisation and time management skills
- Experience of or enthusiasm for subject leadership
- Commitment to raising achievement and standards
- The ability to develop professional relationships and work as part of a team
- Willingness to be involved in the wider world of the school and its community.
