    Joining our team, our first objective is to help you learn about our business so that you can begin to use your skills and capabilities to contribute to our success. We run 6 month placements across our teams in the UK and Europe, which could include:

    • Investment Pricing
    • Data Engineering
    • Portfolio Performance Management
    • Decision Science
    • Advanced Analytics
    • Scorecard development and statistical model building
    • Data Innovation
    • Forecasting, Reporting and Insight

    Day-to-day working

    • We don’t expect you to be in the office every day, just for the sake of it. Having said that, if you DO want to be in the office on a regular basis, that’s fine.
    • We do expect you to be in the office to participate in team / project work, where it’s clearly beneficial to do so.
    • When you are in the office, there’s no need to be suited and booted - we care about your skills and ideas, not what you’re wearing. Smart casual is fine, aligned to Cabot’s approach.
    • We are not fans of super-long hours, but we know sometimes we have very busy, peak periods that might require more time and focus than an average week.

    Are you who we are looking for?

    • Undergraduate or postgraduate
    • Recently graduated or with a max of 1 year experience
    • A strong numerical / STEM background (Maths, Science, Engineering or Economics) degree and on track for a 2:1 (equivalent) or better
    • Maths at A Level (grade A or above / equivalent)
    • Someone who…
      • Wants t contribute to a high performing team, and has a strong appetite to learn.
      • Has a passin for analyzing and understanding complexity, being able to translate this into simple terms.
      • Is a cmmunicative team player that can build strong relationships and embrace and live Cabot’s values
