We are now actively recruiting for our 2022 Internship Program: Software Engineering Intern, 3 to 6 months, Summer 2022. This is based in Edinburgh. 

Cadence, a world leader in Electronic Design Automation tools, is currently looking for talented CS or CS/EE undergraduates for internship positions. The ideal candidate will be a software developer in their penultimate year, or a recent graduate, to work alongside experienced software engineers on Virtuoso, our flagship mixed signal design tool.

Based at our office in Edinburgh, the vibrant capital of Scotland, you will have the opportunity to experience working as part of a talented and highly experienced local team, in a global organization. Examples of previous Intern projects include, process improvement utilities (Python) and prototypes of new features (C++). Project selection is based on individual skills.

Position Requirements

The successful candidates will already have had exposure to Object Oriented Design, preferably in C++, and knowledge or interest in electronics. Experience with Linux, Python, EDA tools or analog electronic design is not essential but would be a welcome addition. The internship positions are for 3 to 6 months duration.
