An exciting opportunity has arisen for an undergraduate to join the Marketing Team at Caffè Nero on a 11-month Work Experience Industrial Placement.
To be considered for this opportunity you must be studying for a Marketing/Business Studies degree that requires you to undertake a related work experience placement beginning in Summer 2023.
About the role
The Marketing Team at Caffè Nero are responsible for helping to drive the commercial success in our stores, by creating programmes that attract customers, grow spend and encourage visit frequency and brand loyalty. This includes working with brand partners, developing multi-channel campaigns to support product and category launches and using our mobile app and email to drive customer behaviour.
This placement has created a unique opportunity to experience the key functions of our Marketing Team, giving insights into:
- Campaign planning and scheduling
- Campaign creation and execution
- Campaign analysis
The Work Experience Industrial Placement will primarily be based in our Covent Garden offices (with, on average, 2 days each week working from home). You can expect a friendly and fast paced environment, where you can quickly learn about marketing, retail and hospitality in a multi-format organisation.
About you
- You will be studying for a Marketing/Business Studies Degree that must support an 11 month work experience placement to begin in Summer 2023.
- You will be considering a career in marketing and be able to demonstrate an interest and understanding of marketing performance
- You will be a fast learner, with a real sense of curiosity and challenge
- You will be a great team player – we are a diverse bunch at Caffè Nero, so you will need to be adaptable and able to work with people at different levels and in a range of roles
- You will have strong analytical skills, coupled with a genuine interest in problem solving
- Creative skills are a must!
- You will be comfortable with technology
- Fluency in written and spoken English is essential

The work experience placement will start in Summer 2023, for a maximum period of 11 months.
