The search is underway for an undergraduate to join the Marketing Team here at Caffè Nero. To be considered for this opportunity you must be studying a Business Studies or Marketing degree that requires you to undertake a placement beginning in Summer 2024 (returning to your final year in the Autumn of 2025).
The role
The Marketing Team are responsible for helping to drive the commercial success of our stores, by creating programmes that attract customers, grow spend and encourage visit frequency and brand loyalty. This includes working with brand partners, developing multi-channel campaigns to support product and category launches and using our mobile app and email to drive customer behaviour.
This placement has created a unique opportunity to experience the key functions of our Marketing Team. You’ll be involved in the complete life cycle of our campaigns: planning and scheduling, creation and execution, and analysis. Plus so much more!
The placement will be based in our head office in Covent Garden, Central London (with, on average, 2 days each week working from home). You can expect a friendly and fast paced environment, where you can quickly learn about marketing, retail and hospitality in a multi-format organisation.
About you
- You will be studying for a Marketing or Business Studies degree that requires you to undertake a work placement.
- You will be available for a placement to begin in Summer 2024 – returning for your final year studies in Autumn 2025.
- You will be considering a career in marketing and be able to demonstrate an interest and understanding of marketing performance.
- Previous work experience in retail or hospitality would be a real advantage.
- You will be a fast learner, with a real sense of curiosity and challenge.
- You will be a great team player, adaptable and able to work with people at different levels and in a range of roles.
- Great communication skills are essential, and you'll be able to adapt your style to suit a wide-ranging audience.
- You will have strong analytical skills, coupled with a genuine interest in problem solving.
- Creative skills are a must!
- You will be comfortable with technology.
- Fluency in written and spoken English is essential.
