    You will be joining one of the advisory groups, pivotal parts of our company that provide clients with strategic advice at the interface between technology and the commercial challenges of business. Across the groups we deliver projects to clients in the Industrial, Consumer, Energy, Wireless & Communications, Digital Services and Medical Technology sectors.

    Main Purpose of the Job

    To identify, abstract and analyse information to produce market/technology insights in support of technology consultancy project work.

    Specific Responsibilities

    Working in teams of engineers and consultants, with lots of support from your colleagues and peers, you will contribute to projects delivering technology strategy advice to clients across a broad range of sectors. This will include:

    • Gathering of information through primary and secondary research
    • Analysis of information, data and trends to develop strategic insight for clients
    • Technical and commercial modelling of project-specific data for business case development, solutions, financial modelling and market sizing
    • Supporting the development of business propositions, market insight and other initiatives that shape our own strategy
    • Development of reports and presentation of findings to internal teams and clients

    Minimum Requirements

    Essential

    • An excellent degree in a business, engineering or scientific discipline
    • Passion for technology and innovation
    • Excellent team working skills
    • A well-organised and structured approach/mindset
    • A desire to solve problems
    • Excellent oral and written communication
    • Be a proficient multi-tasker

    Desirable

    • Demonstrable ability to distil results and draw meaningful conclusions from data
    • Experience in bringing to life the potential of a technology through student business plan competition, entrepreneurship society or similar additional learning
    • Any relevant experience gained through an internship or in a similar role in a consultancy would be advantageous
    • For a position in the Medtech group a background in biological or clinical sciences or healthcare would be desirable.
    • For a position in the Industrial, Consumer and Energy group an interest in consumer experience, automation, manufacturing, renewable energy and sustainability is desirable
    • For a position in the Wireless and Digital Services group an interest in cellular and telecoms, satellite, aerospace, automotive, IoT and Industry 4.0 is desirable
