    Play an essential role in helping increase sales of our English Language Assessment and teaching & learning materials in the UK and Ireland.

    We are looking for a dynamic person with experience in the English language teaching sector to join our business development team to help us achieve our ambitious targets.

    About the role

    As the Learning & Assessment Consultant, you will support the achievement of annual revenue targets by implementing the approved country strategic plan. You will develop both existing and new business in the UK and in the Republic of Ireland. You'll also:

    • travel within the allocated territory with some overnight stays
    • develop a detailed understanding of Cambridge's learning and assessment portfolio for English so as to contribute to the achievement of annual revenue and profitability targets in the UK and Ireland, and to provide expert consultation with decision makers and influencers.
    • build strong relationships and rapport with our key partners across learning, assessment and distribution channels, providing extensive support and facilitating the best possible experience of Cambridge products
    • carry out a combination of in-person and online meetings with key existing customers and potential new customers, according to agreed prioritisation and country strategic plans.
    • grow and maintain an accurate pipelineof leads and opportunities within our Customer Relationship Management system (CRM)

    About you

    You will be creative, industrious and have outstanding interpersonal and communication skills. You will be highly organised and be able to plan your work around individual needs and those of your team and customers. More about you:

    • educated to a degree level (or equivalent experience) with good knowledge of the English language teaching & assessment industry.
    • You will have a demonstrable ability to ensure outstanding record-keeping enables you to work towards achieving strategic objectives and budgetary targets.
    • You will have C1 level of English as a minimum, and a full clean UK/Irish driving licence is mandatory
