    Canon Europe are looking for a talented student to join our EMEA Workspace Marketing and Innovation team on 12 month paid internship. The role will help you to develop customer marketing knowledge, understanding of technology solutions, related marketing activities and gain market research and competitive analysis experience.

    The team is responsible for integrating office printers, software solutions and value-added services to develop compelling value propositions for Business to Business (B2B) customers and to drive the strategy and business development activity through to Canon EMEA Sales and Marketing operations. As an intern you will be responsible for supporting the team by providing competitive intelligence, sales success stories, improving and managing information sharing and tracking project managed content production.

    Your time here will be a chance for you to learn and develop key business skills and knowledge, whilst adding value to the entire EMEA marketing and business development agenda for workspace.

    Our team is based at our state-of-the-art EMEA HQ in Uxbridge (Hybrid working – on average 3 days per week in the office) which is easily reaching via the Elizabeth Line, with subsidised restaurant & Costa Coffee and free parking onsite.

    What We Ask

    The role will have a particular focus on:

    • Maintaining and sharing insights on competitor’s offerings and their marketing tactics, related to office printing and scanning products, software and services.
    • Revitalising the workspace customers case studies & sales success stories. Identifying them, arranging them, developing them, etc.
    • Improving the information sharing with the Canon EMEA countries focusing on product marketing and business development audiences e.g. updates to SharePoint sites, management of distribution lists etc.
    • Owning the monitoring and tracking of portfolio marketing content production activities linked to product launches, etc.

    You Will Need

    The successful candidate will:

    • Have excellent communication and organisation skills with a positive mindset and can-do attitude.
    • Be studying for a bachelors’ degree, ideally in a business or marketing discipline.
    • Have a passion for marketing and a curiosity for business to business technology solutions.
    • Take ownership and accountability, operate within a matrix management organisation.
    • Collaborate and act as a team player.
    • Have a good level of knowledge of Word, PowerPoint and Excel will be useful as well as the interest to learn about IT systems supporting the business (e.g. CRM systems, Digital Asset Management tool, MS SharePoint, etc.)
    • Be keen to learn and develop in a fast-paced organisation.
