    Building Construction Products Division (BCPD) delivers operational excellence in manufacturing small construction equipment serving a global market. We currently have an exciting opportunity for a finance placement student to join our business resources team in Desford. The role will be based in our legal entity team, working with others across our organisation and you will be directly involved and at the heart of our business.

    The role

    Our placement training scheme gives you the opportunity to experience different aspects within the finance team with opportunities to engage with the wider business.

    Tasks may include:

    • Preparation and entering of journals into the ledger
    • Weekly / Monthly Reconciliations
    • Fixed Asset Register Maintenance and Audits
    • Cash and Banking
    • Supporting the wider finance team
    • Project work
    • Dealing with Ad-hoc queries

    The role

    As the type of roles within our business are becoming more diverse, we are looking for people who are open minded, excellent problem solvers and who have an ability to learn quickly. We are looking for talented, ambitious people from various backgrounds who are interested in setting out on the road to success. Seeking candidate with data analytics exposure with some proficiently using industry standard tools such as Power BI and Tableau. Candidates should be conscientious, hard-working with a good attention to detail and be able to work to deadlines. Looking for people who have a can-do attitude and demonstrate a positive approach.

    It is essential that applicants should have achieved or be on track to achieve a minimum of a 2:2 in one of the following disciplines: Accountancy, Finance or a relevant Business-related degree.
