What do we do?
Caterpillar Financial Services (UK) Limited was formed in 1992 and is located at Friars Gate in Solihull. We support Northern Europe (NEUR), South Africa and Treasury function. The company is part of the Financial Products Division (FPD) who in turn form part of CAT Inc.
There are circa 70 staff on the UK payroll supporting our business which operates in multiple currencies. We deal with a variety of countries including Ireland, Netherlands, Norway, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Poland, Romania, Czech, Russia, Spain, Portugal, Italy, Nordics, Dubai, South Africa, etc.
The role will be based in our finance team, but you will also be able to work with others across our organisation. You will be directly involved and at the heart of our business, participating on strategic projects and driving continuous improvement.

What experiences can we offer you?
Our placement training scheme gives you the opportunity to experience different aspects within the finance team with opportunities to engage with the wider business.
Tasks may include:
- Producing reports to identify expiring assets
- Contact customers. by a combination of phone calls, emails, and letters to confirm end of lease plans see
- Provides quote options
- Communicate customer decision with internal departments
Inventory
- Add assets to inventory, whilst maintaining internal controls and adhere to strict deadlines
- Book asset inspections and manage non-compliance process
Reporting/General
Maintaining data for inventory reports and slides including controls for audit

Who are we looking for?
Working with Cat Used, Dealers (PON Finning) to contribute to Caterpillar’s success by ensuring Caterpillar Financial Services Corporation's (CFSC) end of term process is followed, initiation of returning machines, extension calculations, arranging end of term inspector instructions and final customer invoices. The end of term and remarketing process is critical to ensure non-performing assets are minimised and thus area directly impacts the customer as a differentiating factor
You will be on track to achieving a 2:2 within an Accountancy, Finance, or a relevant Business-related degree.
We will provide you the training and support you need to be successful at Caterpillar.
