    The role

    The Marketing Assistant plays a crucial role in supporting the Marketing Manager to execute various marketing strategies and initiatives that align with CDA’s objectives. This includes managing and delivering key marketing projects such as promotions, exhibitions, social media campaigns, and the development of marketing literature. The role requires strong organisational skills to assist with the annual events plan, budget management, and the creation of event proposals in collaboration with agency partners. Additionally, the Marketing Assistant coordinates with internal stakeholders, ensuring seamless communication and timely delivery of event-related tasks. They also oversee event logistics, including set-up, asset management, and supplier coordination, ensuring that all elements align with the company’s brand identity.

    A significant aspect of the role involves maintaining the visual identity and brand guidelines across all marketing touchpoints, from promotional materials to retail campaigns. The Marketing Assistant assists in the creation of templates to ensure consistency across all materials and supports the development of product and lifestyle photography and video content. Additionally, they provide support for various marketing campaigns, from point-of-sale displays to brochures and showroom materials. This position also supports social media management and builds relationships with internal and external customers, ensuring that all marketing materials are available and meet deadlines. By assisting with stock management, internal systems, and marketing asset organisation, the Marketing Assistant ensures the marketing team’s operational success and contributes to the company’s brand consistency.

    Who we are looking for

    We are looking for an organised and proactive individual with strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to support our marketing initiatives. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in social media platforms and have a passion for creating engaging content and building strong customer relationships. A detail-oriented approach is essential, as you will be managing multiple marketing projects at once and working under pressure to meet tight deadlines. You should be able to effectively prioritise tasks, ensuring that all aspects of marketing activities are completed on time and to a high standard.

    While a background in marketing would be beneficial, it is not a requirement for the role. Your ability to adapt quickly and show creativity and innovation in your approach to marketing tasks is important. A working knowledge of SAP and Excel would be an advantage, as these tools are integral to the efficient tracking and management of marketing materials and assets. We need someone who is eager to learn, possesses excellent time management skills, and thrives in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

    What you will get in return

    Working 37.5 hours per week between 08:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday to Friday, salary dependent on experience.

    We are located in an idyllic rural setting on the outskirts of Nottingham in Langar, so it is very likely that you will find any commute is going against the rush hour traffic!
