About us
Wondering what being a manufacturing graduate is all about? At CELSA we produce steel in the greenest way possible - using an electric arc furnace. We melt and recycle scrap metal then produce new steel products. Working in our melt shop or hot rolling mills, you’ll quickly gain an understanding of all aspects of our production process.
You will be learning off managers from departments like Quality, Process and Continuous Improvement, getting involved in improvement projects, assisting with the leadership of production teams and ensuring quality and safety standards are met. You’ll support overall production to ensure we meet targets & optimise the process.
About you
You will be passionate about developing a career within a challenging manufacturing environment. Other than your degree, you’ll need have great communication skills and be eager to apply your technical knowledge to practical and hands-on situations.
We have some ambitious environmental targets, like our aim to achieve net zero carbon by 2030. You could be a part of helping us achieve that. Other than being the largest producer of reinforcing steel in the UK and one of the largest metal recyclers, we are also striving to be the leaders in the decarbonisation of the UK steel sector.
